What Size Damage Can Be Repaired?
Each repair claim covers damage on a single panel up to the size of the Ding Shield card (2” X 3 1/2”), provided the paint has not been damaged.
How Many Repairs Are Covered By The Plan?
The plan will provide for an unlimited number of PDR Panel Repairs over the term of the contract.
How Long Does It Take To Remove A Dent Or Ding?
Dents and dings can often be repaired in a day or less, with a scheduled appointment.
How Does The Customer Schedule A Repair?
The customer contacts our Ding Shield claims center (800.458.7072) to schedule an appointment with a technician.
What Documentation Do I Need to Make a Claim?
To make a claim, you will need the Buyer Registration form.
Can I Claim Damage Larger Than The Size Of The Card?
No. Ding Shield claims only cover damage up to the size of the Ding Shield card (2” x 3 ½”).
Does The Ding Shield Plan Cover Paint Damage Or Bumper Repair?
No. Ding Shield is a paintless dent removal plan for dents and dings where the paint has not been broken.
Does The Ding Shield Plan Allow For A Loaner Vehicle?
No. A loaner vehicle is not provided.

Assurance Vehicle Appearance Protection (VAP) is designed to protect the appearance of vehicles, both inside and out. This comprehensive package includes repairs of dings and dents, and protection of paint, fabric and leather.
Who Is PermaPlate?
PermaPlate has been providing interior and exterior automobile protection products since 1978. The company’s protection products include FiberGuard®, LeatherGuard® and PaintGuard®. PermaPlate is owned by Siskin Enterprises of Salt Lake City, Utah and does business in North America, Puerto Rico and Asia.
Who Sells Assurance?
Assurance is marketed to dealers through General Agents and partners who understand the benefits of a complete appearance package. The F & I department sells Assurance to consumers.
How Does This Package Compare To Other Bundled Programs?
Several programs have recently come into the market place. Each one a little different than the other. Assurance was built upon market research and input from F & I professionals. We asked the questions and delivered a package dealers wish to sell. Add the security of a strong insurance backer with each product and you have high curb appeal with dealers.
Is Assurance Approved In My State?
Dent Wizard and PermaPlate work directly with each state to meet compliancy requirements and form approvals. The Dent Wizard products are filed as service contracts and come under separate legislation in several states. PermaPlate is a warranty product.
Who Is Backing Assurance?
Individually each company carries its own insurance backer to step in and support claims should any of these businesses fail to meet its terms and conditions. Dent Wizard is covered by a CLIP policy with Great American Insurance, PermaPlate by Amtrust of NY, both ‘A’ rated carriers.
Can It Be Sold In Service?
Assurance in primarily sold in the F&I department; however, it can be offered through service.
